Optimal oil and gas well design is crucial if maximum safety, maximum efficiency, maximum oil and gas production and maximum cost effectiveness are to be realised.

This course takes delegates through the key drivers behind exploration, appraisal and development wells and their associated risks, challenges and solutions.

To maximise their learning, delegates will design their own vertical appraisal well based upon course material and given offset and subsurface data and write the associated drilling programme, identifying risks and mitigating factors.

Places will be strictly limited to ensure maximum involvement.
